This class focuses on handbuilding functional or funky pieces and then experimenting with a handful of various decorating techniques.
From Mishima to Slip transfers, we will be exploring the wide possibilities of surface decoration while getting out from the round and creating expressive stoneware pieces.
Your pieces can be functional like bowls, mugs and vases
Or get sculptural with it and create art for your home or garden.
Open to all skill levels.
We'll explore various surface decorating techniques such as mishima, underglaze transfers, slip transfers, sgraffito, water etching and more! While also learning various handbuilding techniques with slab and coil.
