863 Nebula Raku

The Raku glazes are all lead-free and require a raku firing process to achieve the results shown. Pieces are fired to 1750*F(950*C) in an electric or gas kiln. While still red hot, the glazed piece should be transferred into a reduction bin; commonly a small sealable metal containing organic material. The reduction bin should be closed and the piece allowed to cool for at least twenty minutes before removing and cleaning it.
