About the Experience
Create a colourful, custom paper towel holder that brings extra charm to everyday clean-ups. Using clay slabs, you’ll explore texture, shape, and building a larger form that comfortably fits a standard roll of paper towels. This is a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to working with slabs, with plenty of room to play, design, and craft something uniquely yours.

Learn the basics of hand-building with clay as you create a paper towel holder. This is a fun introduction to working with clay, with plenty of opportunities to get creative and learn how you can continue making pottery at home. A reservation is required to book a spot. Maximum class size is 9 people with a minimum of 6 people to run the class.
Our class includes: clay, tools, glaze, firing, and instruction. All you need to bring is your creativity!
Schedule
We will begin with a demonstration of the fundamentals of hand-building with clay, then you'll get right to it! We’ll provide tools, textures, and inspiration. We reserve 10–15 minutes at the end of class for students to assist with clean-up.
Glaze
Students may choose from three glaze options for their holders. Our staff will glaze your pieces and have them ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks.
