Create handmade stoneware holiday décor & gifts with Linda from The Garden Studio!

This 3 Week handbuilding class is focused on exploring various handbuilding and decorating techniques! You will learn and play with multiple methods all while prepping for the holiday season by making decor or great gifts for family & friends!

What will you learn?

Handbuilding Techniques such as slab building, coiling and pinch pot making

Decorating techniques such as mishima and sgraffito, underglaze transfers and more!

This is a fun introduction to clay, with lots of opportunity to get creative. A reservation must be made to book a spot. Maximum class size is 9. 

Our class includes everything needed. All you have to bring is your creativity! (and wear clothes you can get messy in). Please check out our class policies and follow our health and safety guidelines!

Studio Space
Each class will begin with a demonstration on, then we'll get right to it! We'll provide templates, tools, textures and inspiration. Clean-up is a class effort. 

You're welcome to bring tools you have found for texture or inspiration you find on Pinterest or Instagram!

Colours
You will be utilizing underglazes during the class. All pieces will be coated in a clear glaze to finish them off and give them that beautiful glossy look.

Class templates and colours provided (glazes, washes & underglazes) are at the discretion of the teacher and can vary.
