A very useful tool is for the studio or classroom! Perfect for cutting uniform slabs, tiles, extrusions and pugs. Functioning like a “cheese cutter,” the horizontal pipe (seen directly above the clay) slides up and down the vertical bars to adjust the distance between the pipe and the cutting wire, once the desired thickness is determined the thumb screws can be tightened to hold that dimension. Set this space for the thickness you desire and pull through the clay to cut a uniformly thick slab, pug or extrusion.

Cuts up to 7-1/2" wide and 1/8" - 6" deep.
