Looking for something fun for your child to do over March break? Bring them to our studio to play with clay!
Drop them off at our studio and our fun loving pottery teachers will guide your child in making their very own pieces of art using clay.
They will have fun exploring the art of hand-building, coil building, throwing on the pottery wheel as well as decorating their pieces!
Perfect for kids aged 8-14. If your child is 5-7, they must be accompanied by an adult. No experience is necessary! This class is perfect for children wanting to explore the world of pottery and be inspired to create with clay!

Runs Monday - Friday
March 10th - 14th
10am-12:30pm
Monday: Coil Building! Students will learn the art of coil building with clay. This is a great method to create with clay and one of the oldest ways used to form pots. Students will likely make a small bowl or planter pot -
Tuesday: Slab Building! We love slab building for the versatility and organic style and functionality it offers! This class will focus more on making a mug or similar slab build vessels.
Wednesday: THROW! Dress you student for mess. Today they will learn the pottery wheel!
Thursday: Throw! Round two on the wheel!
Friday: Trim and decoration! Students will use this day to trim and decorate their thrown pieces as well as complete any decorating they still may need to on their handbuilt pieces.
After the class: Our staff will bisque fire and glaze your child's pieces in a clear glossy coating. This process takes time as they pieces need to be completely dried, fired once, glazed, then fired again. Pieces should be available for pickup in 2-3 weeks from the last class date. Everyone will be contacted once the pieces are ready for pickup. We also post readily available pieces in our "Are my pots Ready" page!
